Summer Days Linky 4th September
Welcome to the final week of the Summer Days linky which I have been co-hosting with Katie from Mami2Five Blog this year. I have really enjoyed reading all your summery posts, and discovering some new blogs. Thank you to all of you who linked up.
As usualy, feel free to add a round up of your week, a photo you would like to share, a recipe or a craft – anything you like that makes you think of summer. Would be lovely to see some family fun outside, enjoying the summery weather, be it on holiday or messing around in your back garden. With this final week you might want to add a round up of what you have got up to over the summer. Whatever you would like to add, Katie and I are looking forward to reading it.
When you link up tweet us at @karenjwhitlock and @mami2fiveblog using the #summerdays hashtag and we will retweet each post for you.
Of course there are a few simple rules we would like you to follow please:
- Link up one of your summer related posts from this year.
- Please comment on at least the two posts before yours. If you want lots of lovely blog karma (it’s a real thing, honest!) then the more you comment, the more comments you will get back – simple!
- You can use the hashtag #SummerDays when you comment to let people know where you came from.
- Please add the badge to the bottom of your post to help spread the word of the linky.
- Have fun – it’s summer!
Last week I loved this post from Wonderfully Average – her photos of her little boy exploring White Horse Hill are lovely, and the one with the rain clouds looming has really summed up how I am feeling at this time of the year. The end of summer is nigh!
I wanted to share a collage of photos from our weekend in Birmingham a couple of weekends ago. We went on the “Big Hoot” Trail and went hunting for some of the giant, decorated owls that were dotted around the city centre. It was a lovely sunny day, the girls had lots of fun owl spotting and exploring one of my favourite cities and we spent some lovely time together as a family. Perfect summer holiday days.
This week I have returned to work, and next week my big girl starts reception. A new chapter in our lives is about to begin!
