Summer Days Linky 19th June
Welcome to another week of the Summer Days linky which I am co-hosting it with Katie from Mami2Five Blog this year. The link with run all the way through the summer and into September and will be the ideal place to share your summery posts and find other to read and hopefully inspire you too!
You may want to add a round up of your week, a photo you would like to share, a recipe or a craft – anything you like that makes you think of summer. Would be lovely to see some family fun outside, enjoying the summery weather, be it on holiday or messing around in your back garden. Whatever you would like to add, Katie and I are looking forward to seeing all your summery fun.
Of course there are a few simple rules we would like you to follow please:
- Link up one of your summer related posts from this year.
- Please comment on at least the two posts before yours. If you want lots of lovely blog karma (it’s a real thing, honest!) then the more you comment, the more comments you will get back – simple!
- You can use the hashtag #SummerDays when you comment to let people know where you came from.
- Please add the badge to the bottom of your post to help spread the word of the linky.
- Have fun – it’s summer!
Thank you so much to all of you who linked up last week. I love the variety of posts that are linked up – all with lot of summer fun.
The Mummy Stylist linked up with a trip to St Ives in Cornwall which I enjoyed reading about as the girls’ cousins live there. On the subject of cousins, Mummy of Boy Girl Twins shared the fun her twins had with their big cousin playing outside together.
The highlight of this week had to be another trip to Cotswold Wildlife Park, meeting up with lovely Kat from Beau Twins and her gorgeous twin girls. We have been there quite a few times, but because we met up there with Kat once before Freyja almost expects to be seeing Kat there when we go. It was nice not to disappoint her today!
Before Kat arrived, we managed to get round to a few of the animals. I love seeing the rhinos grazing in the central part of the park. Against the backdrop of the buildings, it is such an iconic image.
Freyja loves the meerkats, and we were lucky enough to see three baby meerkats in the enclosure.
The four girls got on really well together, running around and generally ignoring Kat and I. I feel so lucky that not only do I have a wonderful friend in Kat whom I have met through this blogging malarkey, but we also have children who enjoy each other’s company. It is amazing the power that blogging has in bringing people together.
After Kat and the twins had gone, mine carried on having fun in the play area. There is this great zipwire/swing ride which Emily had to have a go on and when Freyja saw how much her little sister was enjoying herself she decided she was brave enough to have a go too. They both loved it!
