Schleich Horse Club
Since we reviewed a set from the Schleich Horse Club series last year, Emily has been collecting other sets. What we were really won over by with the Hannah’s Guest Horses set was both the quality and realism of the figures. As a result, Emily has received other products within the Horse club series for her birthday and Christmas.

We were recently sent a few more items for review – a couple of the Horse Club Girls and the Horse Club mobile Vet Van. However, I cannot JUST review these products as they are now completely integrated into Emily’s ever-growing, and much loved collection of Horse Club Products. There is a HUGE selection of products available in the range. For children who are fans of the beautiful Schleich animal figures, there are over 30 different horse figures to collect, comprising of different breeds, mares, stallions and foals. There are sets for those who love horse riding – such as the Riding School and Tournament Training. And for children who love dolls houses, there are also a cafe and a house with a stable to meet the needs of their human figurines! Emily loves the Horse Club Playmat that she had from one of her Aunties for Christmas, and will usually be playing with her horses on here.

Since reviewing the Hannah’s Guest Horses set, Emily was keen to have more people to interact with the horses. She loves her two Horse Club Girls – Sofia and her Andalusian mare Blossom, and Sarah with her Arabian Mare Mystery. The figures are moveable, and the saddle and bridles of the horses can be taken off for when they are not being ridden.

Emily loves the Mobile Vet Van we were sent for review. In addition to the van and vet, it comes with a Hanoverian foal figure with a removable halter, an X-ray machine, stethoscope, medical bag, syringe, medicine bottle, purple bandage and a prescription pad and plaster stickers. The roof and side wall of the van can be folded open, and the front doors of the van can also be opened and closed. The vet has movable arms and legs, so she can hold individual accessories, stand up to examine her patient or sit down to drive the van. However, the only downside with this set, is that Emily has already used up the plaster stickers, sticking them on her horses, figures or anyone who comes near her whilst she is playing with them!

The Horse Club Girls we were set have a RRP of £15 each and the Horse Club Mobile Vet Van has a RRP of £30. Compared with other similar products, the Schleich products may appear on the pricey side. However, you really do get what you pay for. All of the sets that we have been sent for review, or have bought for Emily are really of high quality. Buildings and vehicles are easy to assemble, yet really sturdy, and the variety and realism of the horse figures are in a league of their own. We cannot recommend the Schleich Horse Club products any more highly. Emily loves them and plays with them so much, that they have been worth every penny we have spent on them, and we will be buying more from the huge range they have in the future (Emily has a wish list). You can see all the Horse Club products at the Schleich website, and products can be bought from a variety of shops, including Argos (where the Horse Club Girl sets are currently £10 instead of £15).

Disclaimer: We were sent the two Horse Club Girls and Mobile Vet Van for review, however, other products seen in the post were bought by ourselves. As always, all thoughts and opinions are our own.
