It sounds like a perfect birthday to me and it must be refreshing to be up and about on your leg again now too. Your girls are growing up into such beauties, it feels as though I’ve not seen them for so long. love how you have captured them playing together and what a beautiful time of year to be at the park and aboreton. I’m glad you had a great birthday and I can totally see how this could be the highlight. Funnily enough my favourite thing to do is go to the beach as a family.

Thank you for sharing with me on #CountryKids

The girls are desperate to get to Coombe Mill again. Can’t wait for Easter! It’s nearly a year now and still they talk about Christmas at Coombe Mill

  5. Happy Birthday!!!! It sounds like a wonderful day. They all have a moan. When mine fight, I remind myself that it is part of growing up and learning how to deal with other people. That and counting to ten! Your photos are beautiful. Westonbirt is just so fabulous at this time of year. Love kicking leaves. #CountryKids

Happy birthday for last weekend, sounds like an amazing way to spend a birthday personally. The best things in life really are free and you have a birthday in the most amazing season, crisp, autumn skies and leaves everywhere #CountryKids

  12. Happy birthday Karen! This looks like the perfect way to spend a birthday – family time out and about. That play area in Stratford Park looks like a lot of fun and love all the autumn colours in Westonbirt Arboretum – can’t beat kicking leaves or being swung around by daddy. Love the photo of your girls holding hands too 🙂 #countrykids

Thanks Louise. The older I get, the more I appreciate those seemingly little things in life. I think it is the leaf kicking and being swung around that the girls will remember.

  13. Happy Birthday! This looks like a perfect birthday, and what a beautiful time of year to have it (mine is just too early for the autumn colours to really kick in but now the colours are stunning) – what a gorgeous walk! Your pictures are so adorable, and I love the fact that they are natural! #CountryKids
