Have the Personal Training sessions been worth it?
At the start of October, I was invited to try 12 Personal Training sessions over 6 weeks with Hall Personal Training. With only one session remaining, have the sessions been worth it?
Well, I’ve been weighed and measured and can quantify my success. But before I share this with you, I think it is important to remember that there are aspects of health and fitness that are harder to quantify. This is where I want to start.
Firstly, I should say that I am so proud of myself for getting myself to the gym for my 2 sessions a week and giving it my all. I can feel that I am fitter. At the gym, I am lifting heavier weights, managing more reps and not taking as long to recover afterwards. But I am also feeling fitter in my everyday life. I have also really enjoyed my time in the gym. My personal trainer, Elliot, has helped keep me motivated and got me believing in my ability. I look forward to my time at the gym now!
The training and changes to my diet feel like they are becoming a normal part of my life now. These aren’t just temporary changes for these 6 weeks. I am going to continue doing what I have been doing. I am feeling so much fitter and healthier, and as a result, happier. Of course, I am benefitting from these changes, but this will have a positive impact on the rest of my family as I feel like I have much more energy. It is much easier to keep up with the girls when they are running around now!
So, you are probably wondering what has happened to my weight and measurements since the start of my personal training. Well, in six weeks I have lost 7kg and 3 inches from around my waist! Although the fact that I feel fitter and am definitely more healthy than I was 6 weeks ago, the hard evidence that I have lost weight and am slimmer really is the icing on the cake!
My personal training has gone so well that I have decided to continue with it. I am so pleased with the results and honestly cannot recommend Hall Personal Training and Elliot enough. If you are looking for a personal trainer in the Cheltenham area then do get in touch with them.
As for me, I will be continuing to train and aim to get even fitter and healthier. Maybe in the next 6 weeks I will be lifting a child in each arm?
