Both the girls love playing outside at home and at nursery. One of their new favourite activities is the mud kitchen they now have access to at nursery. As you can imagine, despite washing their hands afterwards, they are prone to coming home with dirty fingernails! I was excited to hear about a new nail brush – BruzZ – which claims to be the “most hygienic nailbrush in the world” and keen to test it out on the girls after a session playing in the mud.
It wasn’t what I had expected at all. Firstly, after opening the box I was struck by a gentle smell of vanilla. The bristles are not like a standard nailbrush – they are really soft, and are angled in towards the centre of the brush, enabling you to clean much more of the nail and finger at the same time.
One thing I hate about conventional nail brushes is how dirty they get so quickly. Not only are the bristles on the BruzZ antibacterial, but they can actually be removed to enable them to be cleaned properly.
The girls enjoyed using the BruzZ – it was lightweight and easy to use and they thought it tickled, so wanted to use it on each other. It is also really gentle on their skin but still managed to get their grubby nails cleaned as effectively as a conventional nail brush. Here are the girls fingers before and after to show you what I mean….
The BruzZ costs £9.99 but for the fact that even after a few weeks of use, it still looks as good as when it came out of the box and I know it is being much kinder to the girls’ skin and nails I would be happy to opt for this over a conventional nail brush.
Disclaimer: I was sent the BruzZ in exchange for an honest review
